So it has been a long and crazy month. Everything went well with Prices's thesis, and graduation. He was a little worried about his grade in French, but luckily (and maybe since his final paper was about how he needed a B- to graduate) he passed. His and my parents were able to join me in witnessing the"hooding" (I didn't know it was an actual hood) and as you can see Price was very excited to be done!
Aiden had a fun little birthday party, a few of our neighbors came and watched him face plant into his cake. I now understand why we, as parents, plan such an event they won't remember: it was hilarious! he occasionally looked up at us to see why we were laughing, and at the end he pulled his face up, and grinned.
So after all the partying was over, we packed up the house and Price drove while Aiden and I flew to Virginia. It was not a fun day for me. But we're here now, it's beautiful and we are beginning to enjoy ourselves after a little bit of a rough start. We all went to DC the first Sunday, and Aiden went swimming for the first time on last Saturday.
We're looking forward to the family visiting next week, and we're all going to be able to see Seth and Mariah at their reception. Talk about timing! Don't have too much fun in Idaho without us!
