CHRISTMAS PARTY

Our family party is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, probably 6:00 or 6:30 p.m., will let you know. Kevin & Ann have graciously extended an invitation for us to their home--no grandpa's garage this year. Thanks to Jan, Sarah, and Ann for suggestions. We will be having a baked potato bar, Ann, Kevin and family baking the potatoes. The rest of us to bring toppings for the potatoes or a dessert--let me know what you'd like to do. The word this year is SIMPLIFY--no drawing of names. We're asking each person to bring an inexpensive gift, limit $5.00 in price. Put your marvelous creativity and imagination to work as you have in the past. Please mark your calendars--it's more fun when you're all there.

Thanksgiving is over, how can that be? Grandma went through terrible withdrawal pangs at not having a family gathering at our house. But the delicious dinner at the Wilson home and visiting with Laurie, Russ, Kate, Elmer and Lee Wilson was a special treat. Thank you. Hope you each enjoyed the day and reflected on your blessings. Last evening was my "old" stake Primary board/spouse Christmas party in Rexburg and this afternoon is the Book Club party up there. More withdrawal--these also used to be held at our home. Life does keep changing. Just received a wonderful email from Elder Spencer Barnes. Send him a Christmas greeting, he'll be home soon, and you'll miss the opportunity.
Love you, Grandma Jean

Oh, yes, two wonderful visits on Sunday--Sean, Brittany, and Savanna, as well as the Kevin Barnes family. Savanna loved the crawl space under the house--just her size. She wasn't afraid at all and wanted to stay in there. What a cutie. Thank you for coming.
