It has been a long while since we have posted anything here. We've been pretty busy with Sean's job, our ward callings, and of course keeping up with that adventurous little monster that we call Savanna.
Sean loves his job. He loves to be able to wear t-shirts and jeans to work everyday and get paid for it. He also enjoys working with his cousin Ryan. He likes the learning that is taking place there and had a lot of fun with his Certified Ethical Hacking class at the beginning of the year. As far as callings go he has stayed pretty busy working with the youth as one of the counselors in the young men's presidency. He can count on blessing or passing the Sacrament just about every Sunday. He says that it is weird to be referred to as a leader.
Brittany is having fun trying to keep up with a very independent 1 and a half year old, but definitely enjoys the big people interaction she gets from time to time. She has been enjoying her new calling as the primary chorister and has had fun getting to know the children in our small primary. The highlight of her Sunday, however, is singing time with the nursery kids. She especially enjoys the running hug she gets from the newest addition to the nursery, Savanna. She is also having a lot fun whooping up on Sean on Guitar Hero on the Wii.
Savanna is quickly becoming her own little person. She is very independent and does not like to be told "no", but is pretty prompt to obey when told to go stand in the corner. She is "finally" old enough to go to nursery and is adjusting to it pretty quickly. It helps that mom comes in to do singing time. Savanna has decided that she will no longer sit in high chairs and it is a huge struggle every time we try to put her in her car seat. She is going thru a penguin phase. Her favorite movie is Happy Feet and she carts her stuffed penguins everywhere. Her mom even made her a penguin pillow and blanket. Maybe some day she'll do her Happy Feet dance for you. Savanna is also very good and expressing her boredom and will go get her coat and shoes when she thinks its time to leave some place. This is usually followed with a short wave and a "bye". She is a daddy's girl and loves to cuddle daddy as soon as he gets home from work.
Well, we hope that wasn't too painful. It looks like we are stuck here in Utah for good. We hope that everyone is doing well and we hope to see some of you this weekend at the blessing.
Love,
Sean, Brittany, and 'nana
