Taylor had his 4th birthday 2 Sundays ago. He requested a "Cars" party, so I made him a racetrack cake, which he loved! That morning he woke up first and then came into our bedroom and said, "You got me Star Wars guys?" And we said "Did you open your presents?" Taylor said, "Just one." Which was true (he could tell that the others were Star Wars guys by the shapes) . He waited for us to get up before he opened the rest. After church we had a family from our ward over for dinner. They have a daughter just older and a son just younger than Taylor. He enjoyed sharing his birthday with some friends. All in all it was a good 4th birthday!

Taylor, Happy, Happy, Happy late, late birthday! What a fun day you must have had. Grandma Jean isn't doing a very good job with birthdays, but she thinks of you, prays for you and are glad you are in our family. Hello to Melissa, Lincoln, and Tommy too. Oh, yes, Melissa, the other day I tried to thread some yarn in needles--how did you ever do it so quickly and easily. You are teriffic in more ways than one, and I love you!
Actually she and Grandpa Jack "are" glad you are in our family.
