Grandpa and I returned yesterday afternoon from our adventure! We rented a car and drove (he drove and I tried to be his havigator) from here to Palmyra, over to Niagra Falls, on to Kirtland, and back to Laurel. Quite an experience. We made it but there were a few suspenseful moments--so many interstates, other highways, hills, curves, rain, traffic, toll roads, interchanges (or whatever they're called) that I didn't dare take my eyes off of the road signs. We even took the boat ride out to the falls at Niagra, that was fun. Grandpa did great. We got lost. We found helpful souls who drew maps and pointed the way. We made it! Was a wonderful experience and our testimonies have grown and been strengtened. Joseph Smith truly was the prophet of the restoration, and our Savior is the head of this, his Church. We met special people, mostly missionaries, and made new friends, BUT, I'm not sure we're eager to venture out on our own any time soon. It's too stressful.
Hope you're each well wherever you are. The Nielsens are taking good care of us and we love you! We are sorry to have missed graduation, Kiana, hope you took pictures. Oh, it was interesting to be in the middle of an important navigation decision somewhere in Ohio or Pennsylvania, when my cell phone rang and it was Dale calling from Orland, Florida. Said they'd just arrived. it's a small world.

Wow! We get stressed from Sacramento to San Francisco! That sounds like an east coast adventure of a lifetime. Is there anything you didn't see? We love you and miss you!
